ELEVEN SENTENCED IN LATEST DISTRICT COURT SESSION
A Brenham man had his probation revoked and was sentenced to prison for his 2016 arrest.
41-year old Christopher Anthony Martinez was originally placed on five years’ probation for his conviction for Burglary of a Habitation – a second degree felony.
Thursday, Martinez had his probation revoked and was sentenced to seven years in prison and fined $1000.
Also in 21st District Court:
28-year old Jermaine Eugene Evans of Houston was sentenced to seven years in prison for a 2018 arrest for Fraudulent use or Possession of Identifying Information—Between 10-and-50 Items – a first degree felony.
25-year old Clifton Middel Benson, II, of Somerville, was sentenced to five years in prison on three counts of Fraudulent use or Possession of Identifying Information—less than five items – a second degree felony and two counts of Forgery – a third degree felony.
31-year old Alex Garcia, of Melvindale, Michigan, was sentenced to four years in prison for Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle – a third degree felony. Garcia was also sentenced to nine months for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – a state jail felony.
24-year old Gavin O'Neal Porter, of Sealy, was sentenced to three-and-a-half years for a 2018 robbery.
58-year old Gregory Britton, of Brenham, was sentenced to 11 months in prison for Possession of Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.
46-year old Amy Rae Holcomb, of Brenham, was sentenced to six months in jail and fined $500 for Possession of Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.
48-year old Keith L. Wagner, of Houston, placed on four years’ probation for Theft of Property Between $2500-and-$30,000 – a State Jail Felony. Wagner must also pay $13,000 in restitution and perform 100 hours of Community Service.
41-year old Aquanetta Stevens, of Houston, received two years’ probation for Theft of Property Between $2500-and-$30,000 – a State Jail Felony. Stevens was also ordered to perform 50 hours of Community Service.
34-year old Jessica Amber Dueker, of Houston, placed on two years’ probation and fined $500 for Possession of Controlled Substance – a Class A Misdemeanor. Dueker must also perform 200 hours of Community Service.
And, 45-year old Alin Preda, of Spring, was sentenced to five years in prison for Fraud Use/Possession of Identifying Information and Fraudulent Use of a Credit/Debit Card – both second degree felonies. An INS detainer will be placed on Preda upon release from TDC for deportation, due to his status as an illegal immigrant from Romania.
