“BATTLE OF THE BARTENDERS” DECEMBER 12TH IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

In just a few weeks, downtown Brenham will play host to round two of the “Battle of the Bartenders” competition.

Saturday, December 12th, bartenders and mixologists will meet at South St. Charles Street and Commerce Street, where teams with at least one TABC licensed bartender will be judged on their Bloody Marys, margaritas, and a cocktail of their choice.

A panel of judges will decide whose drinks are best, but the crowd will also be able to participate in the hospitality vote.

Set-up will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, and the tent will open for Happy Hour at 2:30 p.m.  Winners will be announced at 6 p.m.

Right at $1,350 in cash prizes is up for grabs, including $500 and a heavyweight championship belt for the overall winner.

Entry fee per team is $50.  Teams will need to provide their own alcohol and mixers.

Public entry is $25, which includes drink samples.

Sponsors for “Battle of the Bartenders” include Las Americas Latin Cuisine, Lighthouse Business Solutions, Lucherk’s Services, Miller Construction Services, Boss Lady Office Leasing, Brannon Industrial Group, Altman Dentistry, Dynamic Drains, and Evans Cabinet Doors.

Tickets can only be purchased online this year.  To learn more, or to purchase tickets, visit https://brenhambattle.com.

  1. A really fun event for sure! But can someone explain how this event is allowed to take place but the Christmas Stroll has been canceled?
The city also had no issues with allowing the “Community Picnic” on Nov.1 @ Henderson Park or the downtown Sip & Walk. So, what gives?
