131ST BRENHAM MAIFEST SERENADE TO BE HELD JANUARY 17TH

  

After cancelling its 2020 celebration, the Brenham Maifest is set to move forward with its 2021 festivities beginning next month.

The 131^st Brenham Maifest Serenade is scheduled for Sunday, January 17^th at 2 p.m. at the Dr. Bobbie Dietrich Memorial Amphitheatre at Hohlt Park.

Special recognition will be held for the 130^th Brenham Maifest royalty, who will then introduce the new Maifest courts.

The 130^th Junior Maifest Court, Queen Harper Joy Huckert and King Tieman Ty Henry Dippel IV, will announce the 131^st Junior Maifest Court Royalty.  The 130^th Senior Maifest Court, Queen Annie Elizabeth Clepper and King Cole Ragonis, will introduce the 131^st Senior Maifest Court Royalty.

In addition to the announcement of the 2021 Maifest courts and their respective themes, there will be a performance by the Brenham High School Band.  Planned activities for Maifest weekend will also be announced.

Maifest Association President Catherine Kenjura noted that these plans are subject to change with COVID-19.  Updates will be posted on the Brenham Maifest Facebook page.
