WASHINGTON CO. GO TEXAN HOLDING FUNDRAISER IN LIEU OF CANCELLED COOK-OFF

  

While the annual Washington County Go Texan barbecue cook-off has been cancelled due to COVID-19, the Go Texan committee is still raising money for local college-bound students.

Washington County Go Texan is now selling drawing tickets until March 1^st.  Tickets can be purchased from committee members and at K&M Grocery, Robert’s Service Station, Felder’s Buy N Bye, and Brenham Repair Center.

Go Texan Ambassador John Schulze said over the years, Go Texan festivities have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local students.

 

Tickets are being sold for $20 each, three for $50, and six for $100.  Winners will be drawn on March 1^st.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Washington County Go Texan youth scholarship fund in support of Brenham and Burton High School seniors.
