THREE PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT THIS WEEK

  

Three people pled guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court this week.

Ramiro Morales, age 23 of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for possession of a controlled substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine.

Glenda Hutchinson Sandles, age 57 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for theft of less than $2500 in property with 2 or more previous convictions.  She was also ordered to pay a $350 fine, $128 in restitution, perform 200 hours in community service, and ordered to stay away from Walmart.

Claudia Mariela Rodriguez, age 45 of Brenham, was sentenced to 232 days in state jail for two counts of forgery.  She was also ordered to pay $12,000 in restitution.
