KWHI TO HOLD ‘CANDIDATES FORUM’ FOR BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD APRIL 14TH
KWHI is hosting a “Candidates Forum” for the contested Brenham School Board races in May’s election.
The forum will be held Wednesday, April 14th at 5:30 p.m. at Brenham National Bank.
All five of the candidates have been invited and intend to come to the forum, including Board Vice President Melvin Ehlert and challengers Christine Giese and Jared Krenek, along with trustee Tommie Sullivan and challenger Michelle Walbeck.
As with KWHI’s Brenham City Council forum on April 7th, the school board forum will not be open to attendance from the general public due to COVID-19. However, the public can still submit questions prior to and during the forum by emailing mail@kwhi.com.
KWHI’s Ed Pothul will moderate the forum and take questions from the public and from news media.
The forum will be broadcast live on KWHI AM 1280 and FM 101.7. It will also be streamed live on kwhi.com and on the KWHI mobile app.
