BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON ‘SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD’ WARRANT

A Brenham man has been taken into custody on a sexual assault warrant.
21-year-old Terry Stegmann of Brenham was arrested during a traffic stop, Wednesday afternoon on State Highway 36 North.
During the stop, police were informed that Stegmann was wanted on an active warrant out of Washington County for Sexual Assault of a Child – a second-degree felony.
Stegmann was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
