‘CASTING FOR CASA’ FAMILY DAY SATURDAY MOVED TO CASA’S BRENHAM OFFICE

Plans are still in place for tomorrow’s (Saturday) free family day hosted by CASA for Kids of South Central Texas, but the event has seen some changes.

Due to inclement weather, the family day will be moved from the Lake Somerville Marina and Campground to CASA’s Brenham office at 1500 South Day Street.

The event will begin at 1 p.m., and will still feature the announcement of the winners of “Casting for CASA – Making a REEL Difference,” an online bass and catfish competition.

Pulled pork sandwiches from LJ’s BBQ will be sold at a booth outside of H-E-B in Brenham during the event.  A silent auction is available online.

Proceeds from the event directly benefit CASA’s goal of supporting local children and families that are in crisis.

KTEX-106’s Crystal Ray will be at the free family day tomorrow, broadcasting live from the KTEX Country Cruiser.
