BLINN TRUSTEES TO CONSIDER ADOPTING 2021-22 BUDGET AND STIPENDS

  

The Blinn Board of Trustees will look to formally adopt the 2021-22 Fiscal Year budget at its meeting today (Tuesday).

Along with adopting the budget and stipends, the board will also consider moving forward with the design and seeking qualifications for construction manager at risk services for additional improvements and repairs in the Old Main Building on the Brenham Campus.  The building suffered water damage as a result of the fire suppression systems freezing during Winter Storm Uri.

Trustees will also consider seeking proposals for furniture, fixtures and equipment for the RELLIS Phase II Building.

Following an executive session, trustees will hear service audits and reports related to the districtwide risk assessment effort.

The board will meet this afternoon at 5:30 p.m.  Public access to the meeting will occur in rooms 2 and 3 of the Brenham Campus Student Center.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Blinn College’s YouTube channel.
