A former Texas A&M student and youth minister has been sentenced to 63 years in prison by a Brazos County Jury.

51-year-old Michael Todd Austin was sentenced for his conviction on criminal acts that allegedly began in 1993.

Austin, who was 23-years-old at the time and involved in youth ministry at a local church, reportedly abused the victim for more than four years.

In March of 2018, the victim, now in his late 30's, came forward saying he had been sexually abused as a child.

Investigators also located another victim who testified at Austin's trial.
