THE SPICOLIS CLOSE OUT HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES WITH FLASHBACK TO THE ’80s
Downtown Brenham’s final “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” concert of 2021 was a blast from the past.
After a sudden lineup change from the Journey tribute band, Escape, The Spicolis, a variety band out of Houston, energized crowds Saturday night with a tribute to the 1980s, playing songs from the MTV generation super groups.
During the concert, guests headed to local businesses and vendors to enjoy food and drinks. Meanwhile, the Stray Katz Car Club’s classic car cruise-in attracted all kinds of car enthusiasts.
Saturday’s performance was sponsored by Baylor Scott & White – The Brenham Clinic, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, Brannon Industrial Group and Strand Associates.

Great concert !! One of the best bands we have ever had. Hope they will be invited back next year.
