BLINN MUSIC DEPARTMENT TO HOLD FOUR PERFORMANCES ON BRENHAM CAMPUS

  

The Blinn College Music Department will celebrate the season with four concerts and recitals on the Brenham Campus.

The brass ensemble will perform tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. in the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center.  A woodwind ensemble recital will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Schmidt Building’s Finke Recital Hall.

The symphonic band will perform Monday at 7 p.m., and the jazz ensemble will be in concert on Tuesday at 7 p.m.  Both performances will be in the O’Donnell Center.

Admission is free to all four events.

Assistant Band Director Dr. Kendall Prinz will be conductor of the brass ensemble, with Jon Kratzer as co-director.  Kratzer will direct the jazz ensemble with Brian Klekar as assistant director.

Dr. Prinz will serve as conductor for the symphonic band concert, and Piano/Music Theory Professor John Dujka will accompany on the piano.

The woodwind ensemble recital will feature students of Klekar and Instrumental Music Coordinator Jill Stewart.
