BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL APPROVES APPOINTMENTS, REAPPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS & COMMISSIONS

A slate of appointments and reappointments to the City of Brenham’s advisory boards and commissions were approved Thursday by the Brenham City Council.

Due to various changes to the city's policies and procedures, on boards and commissions, the terms of all members needed to be re-staggered.  Current serving board members were reappointed to either a one-year or two-year term.

The reappointments involve members of the Animal Services Advisory Board, Library Advisory Board, Main Street Board, Parks and Recreation Board, Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Adjustment, Brenham Community Development Corporation, Brenham Housing Authority and Building Standards Commission.

Appointments for new advisory boards were also approved, those being the Brenham Police Citizen Advisory Board, Historic Preservation Board and Tourism Advisory Board.  Members on those boards will serve terms of either two or three years.

The full list of appointments can be seen here.
