OVER $75,000 IN STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED IN GRIMES CO.

Over $75,000 worth of stolen items were recovered Thursday from a property in Grimes County.

According to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, investigators executed a search warrant in the 18000 block of County Road 147 in the Bedias community.

Officers seized stolen property that was taken from Grimes, Brazos, Burleson and Walker counties.  The stolen items included zero turn lawn mowers, side by side ATVs, four wheelers, utility trailers, tractors, cargo trailers, power equipment, lawn equipment and firearms.

Morgan Fisher

Rohnny Steven Steele and Morgan Fisher, both of Bedias, were arrested for Possession of Stolen Property and Theft of a Firearm.  Steele was also charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Investigating agencies included the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, Grimes County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office, Walker County Sheriff’s Office, DPS Airwing Division, National Insurance Crime Bureau and the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force.
