BLINN SOFTBALL FINISHES WITH THE #3 SEED IN THE REGION XIV SOUTH ZONE
The Bucs open the Regional Tournament against Tyler on May 13.
It's now official. The Blinn Buccaneer Softball Team has clinched the #3 Seed in the South Zone.
The Bucs will open the Region XIV Softball Tournament next Friday, May 13, at 2:30pm against the Tyler Lady Apaches.
Tyler is the #2 seed out of the Region 14 East Zone.
This year's tournament is being hosted by San Jacinto.
The Bucs finished the regular season with a 20-29 overall record, but won five of their last six games to finish 13-11 in conference play.
San Jacinto won the South Zone, followed by Angelina in second place, Blinn in third, and Coastal Bend in fourth.
For the East Zone, Bossier Parish finished first, followed by Tyler in second, Paris in third, and Navarro in fourth.
Schedule for the first round on Friday, May 13:
- Noon - Angelina vs. Paris
- 2:30pm - Blinn vs Tyler
- 5pm - Coastal Bend vs. Bossier Parish
- 7:30pm - San Jacinto vs. Navarro
