WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETS TUESDAY

The Washington County Commissioners Court will meet on Tuesday morning at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.

The Commissioners are scheduled to award the request of a proposal from the Washington Sheriff’s Office for security cameras at the County Jail.

Also going before the commissioners is the permit application for the annual Chappell Hill 4th of July Parade.

Due to the gas prices continuing to climb, they will also vote on adding a one dollar per mile towing increase.

Another item before the commissioners is a proposal for Professional Engineering Services related to the Texas Community Development Block Grant Project on Old Plantation Road.

In addition to that, the Commissioners will hear monthly reports from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, E-91l, the EMS, the Veteran’s Service Officer, and the County Extension Service.
