ZYTHOLOGICAL SOCIETY TO HOST INAUGURAL ‘BREWSTEP 0.1K – SAUNTER FOR A CAUSE’ OCT. 15

  

The Texas Chapter of the Zythological Society of North America will host a new craft beer tasting event this fall in downtown Brenham.

The inaugural “Brew Step 0.1K – Saunter for a Cause” will take place on Saturday, October 15th from 1 to 4 p.m. on South St. Charles Street.

The Brewstep 0.1K is nearly 330 feet of breweries, rest stops and picture opportunities.  Participating breweries include St. Arnold Brewing, Brazos Valley Brewing, Galveston Island Brewing, Pint House Brewing, Karbach Brewing, Saloon Door Brewery, Hound Song Brewing, NOLA Brewing, Independence Brewery, Eldersons Brewery, Sierra Nevada Brewery, and more planned.

Proceeds from the event will go to The Blessing Box Project, which makes special care packages for women who have had mastectomies to be able to comfortably use seatbelts while they recover from their surgeries.

Registration is $40 and will include an event t-shirt, 0.1K vehicle sticker, souvenir tasting glass, wristband to sample beer, and swag bag.  Early registration by October 3rd will guarantee a t-shirt, but late registration will be first come, first served on limited t-shirts.  Attendees must be at least 21 years old with an ID to receive a wristband.
