NO INJURIES AFTER PLANE LANDS OFF RUNWAY AT BRENHAM AIRPORT
A plane landed off the runway this (Wednesday) afternoon at the Brenham Municipal Airport.
According to Airport Manager Debora Pinto, a single-engine aircraft was making a landing at the airport just past noon when it veered off the runway.
The incident was reported by a witness to city staff. The emergency management coordinator responded to the airport, and airborne traffic was notified that the runway was closed.
The pilot was uninjured. The aircraft was not damaged and was towed to the ramp. Operations resumed shortly before 12:30 p.m. after the runway was inspected and found to have no damages or debris.
