CHILDREN WIN GREAT PRIZES IN KWHI HALLOWEEN PARTY

  

Dozens of children around the area won great prizes Monday night during KWHI’s annual on-the-radio Halloween Party.

Special spooky guest DJs called families who turned in KWHI Halloween Party cards to give away over 50 prizes.  They included a Disney Encanto Sing-Along Microphone from Deep in the Heart Farms, a Remote Control Stunt Car from Brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge, a Shape Shifting Box with Earth Magnets from Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance, and an Artie 3000 Coding Robot from Volare Italian Restaurant.

There were also two grand prize giveaways for a pair of bicycles from Nicholson Lake Road RV Park and Mr. Windshield.  The first winner was 7-year-old Ron’Tavian Gibson.

 

The second grand prize winner was 7-year-old Sydney Moore.

 

For decades, KWHI has held its Halloween Party as a way to encourage safe trick-or-treating and getting home at an early hour.

Families can still hold on to the coupons that came with the Halloween Party cards, as they offer discounts and deals at Bush’s Chicken, Horseshoe Junction, Whataburger and Mr. Gatti’s Pizza.  The coupons are good through the end of the year.

Winners can pick up their prizes at the KWHI offices in downtown Brenham at 223 East Main Street.
