6TH ANNUAL TURKEY TROT THANKSGIVING DAY IN ROUND TOP
Registration is open for the 6th Annual Turkey Trot in Round Top.
The Thanksgiving Day run sends participants through the Round Top countryside in a 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run in support of local youth and community organizations.
The Turkey Trot kicks off at 8 a.m. at Henkel Square with the 10K, followed by the start of the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K at 8:30 a.m.
Awards will go to the top two male and female participants in the 5K and 10K, and medals will go to the top male and female runners ages 15 and under, 16-30, 31-55, 56-69, and 70 and up. Everyone who completes the Fun Run will receive a medal.
Registration is $40 for the 5K and 10K, $25 for the Fun Run. T-shirts will be provided while supplies last. Registration the day of the event is $45.
Entrants can pick up their packets at Henkel Hall on November 23rd from 3 to 5 p.m. They can also pick them up on race day from 7 to 8:15 a.m.
