SEVEN SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT
Seven people received sentences this week in 21st Judicial District Court in Washington County, before Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.
54-year-old Manuel Andrade of Brenham pleaded guilty on September 1st to Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More. After a hearing on Thursday, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
34-year-old Johnnie Ray Hardman of Chappell Hill was sentenced to 15 years in prison for Sexual Assault of a Child.
63-year-old Ernesto Perez Gonzales of Houston received 12 months in state jail for three counts of Theft of Property less than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions. He was also ordered to pay a total of $684.97 in restitution.
57-year-old Michale Andrew Bennett of Burton was sentenced to 8 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He must also perform 200 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.
41-year-old Brittany Monet Johnson of Houston was sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
21-year-old Luis David Morales of Miami, Florida received 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Credit or Debit Card Abuse and Forgery $2,500-$30,000. He will also be required to pay $500 and perform 200 hours of community service.
29-year-old Brooke Elizabeth Ripple of Burton was sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Criminal Mischief $2,500-$30,000. She must also pay $4,032.20 in restitution and have no contact with the victim in the case.
