BURTON EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION MAKES DONATION TO BURTON ISD

  

The Burton Educational Foundation recently made a big donation that will benefit the Burton Independent School District.

The Foundation presented Burton ISD with a check for $10,574.21 in grants for teachers in Burton schools.

The BEF’s mission statement is to generate and distribute resources to Burton ISD to enrich and expand programs needed to meet the District’s stated mission of providing the highest quality education possible.

Also on their website, it says that they want to:

Encourage all students to work at their highest potential,

Support and recognize faculty for innovative efforts and exemplary teaching,

Build public awareness of the needs of Burton ISD,

And to involve the community in assuring a quality education for the leaders and workers of tomorrow.
