TWO AUSTIN RESIDENTS ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES

  

Two Austin residents were arrested Thursday on multiple drug charges.

Brenham Police report that Thursday night at 10:30, Officer Crosby initiated a traffic stop in the 1900 block Highway 290 West. A probable search was conducted resulting in the officers discovering various types of narcotics inside the vehicle and on the occupants. The driver, Zachary Carl Blevins, 26 of Austin, was placed under arrest and charged with 3 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, CS PG1, and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. The passenger, Hilarie Alexandra Smuts, 23 of Austin, was placed into custody for 3 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz.
