BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE TO PRESENT ‘AMÉLIE’ BEGINNING THURSDAY

  

Brenham High School theatre students are set to put on their final production of the school year this weekend.

“Amélie: The Musical” will be performed in the high school’s black box theatre this Thursday through Sunday.

“Amélie” is based on the 2001 romantic comedy film of the same name, telling the story of a shy waitress who decides to make a positive difference in the lives of those around her while dealing with her own isolation.  The musical premiered in 2015 and came to Broadway in 2017.

Performances are Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.
