WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET TUESDAY

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court will be meeting is special session on Tuesday morning.

Reverend Johnnie Williams of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church is scheduled to give the invocation.

The commissioners are going to hear quarterly reports from the Human Resource Department, the Washington County EMS, and the Office of Emergency Management.

They are also scheduled to issue a proclamation naming April 9-15 as Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in Washington County.

Other agenda items include the appointment Miss Twila Wood to the Washington County Historical Commission, and a change in the commission’s by-laws.

The commissioners will be discussing recommendations from the County Engineer to award two Right-of-Way Mowing Contracts, one in Precinct One, and the other in Precinct Two.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9am in their chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
