BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR MARIJUANA WARRANT, DRIVING WITH INVALID LICENSE

  

Brenham police arrested two people on Monday for charges of possessing marijuana and driving with an invalid license.

Approaching 11:30 a.m., Officer Evan O’Grady conducted a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Highway 290 East.  Police say the driver of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Patrick Pool of Somerville, had an active warrant for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.  Pool was booked into the Washington County Jail.

A few minutes past 8:45 p.m., Officer Stephen Mosley conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 290 West and FM 389 for an equipment violation.  Police report that the driver, 39-year-old Laticia Ann Cardwell of Brenham, was driving with an invalid license and had no insurance on her vehicle.  Cardwell was taken into custody for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced and transported to the Washington County Jail.
