TOURISM ADVISORY BOARD TO HEAR REPORTS

  

The Brenham Tourism Advisory Board is set to receive a slate of reports at its meeting tomorrow (Thursday).

To be covered are a Texas Music Friendly report, a report on the Texas Film Friendly certification process, discussion on Hotel Occupancy Tax collections, and talks on an upcoming application for the Smithsonian’s 2024-25 Museum on Main Street Program Texas Tour.

There will also be an update on changes to the tourism grant application for 2023 round two requests for programs, projects and events happening from July to December. 

In addition, the board will hear a spring and wildflower season update, along with reports on the Washington County Expo, the Visit Brenham/Washington County Destination Marketing Organization’s second quarter, and administrative business.

The board will meet tomorrow at 9 a.m. in the Morriss Hall Schulte Room at The Barnhill Center.
