HIGHWAY 290 IN BURTON TO CLOSE IN INTERVALS NEXT WEEK
Highway 290 in Burton will undergo a series of temporary but full closures next week.
TxDOT says both the eastbound and westbound main lanes will be closed throughout the day in 15-minute intervals, beginning on Tuesday at 11 a.m. and ending on Thursday.
According to TxDOT, the closures, which are weather permitting, are needed to place overhead span wires across Highway 290 and FM 390 in Burton.
Additional portable, changeable message boards have been put in place for the closure to inform travelers. Law enforcement officials will aid in traffic control.
