The game was stopped for over an hour due to lightning before finally resuming.

When play resumed in the bottom of the first, Avery Maurer led it off with a double, and Kaylyn Rodriguez followed two batters later with an RBI triple to cut the lead to 2-1.

Pflugerville added another run in the top of the third that scored as the Cubettes were turning a double play.

Play was suspended a second time in the top of the fifth inning due to lightning. The lightning was later joined by heavy rain and hail leading to the game's finish being postponed.

The game will resume Monday at 6:30pm in Pflugerville. You can hear the conclusion of the game on KWHI AM-1280, FM 101.7, and KWHI.com.
