TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

  

Two people were arrested Monday in separate incidences on Drug Charges.

Brenham Police report that Monday night at 9:10, Officers arrived on the scene of a complaint of an improperly parked vehicle playing loud music located in the 900 block of Muse Street. The vehicle was located and was occupied Marcus Jay Underwood, 17 of New Waverly.  A THC vape pen and marijuana were located in the vehicle during a probable cause search. Underwood was placed arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz., Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession Drug Paraphernalia.

Then Monday night at 11:25, Corporal Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of State Highway 36 North and West Bluebell Road.  An investigation was conducted and the driver, Nicholas McDonald, 40 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
