ONE PERSON SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

One person pled guilty and was sentenced in District Court this week by Judge Carson Campbell.

Preston Jamal Walker Bailey, 28 of Brenham, pled guilty on April 6, of this year to two counts of Intoxication Assault with Vehicle Causing Serious Bodily injury.  After a hearing on May 30, The Court sentenced him to 5 years in prison on each count to run consecutively.  He was also ordered to pay $1479 in restitution.
