CITY OF NAVASOTA LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITES

  

The City of Navasota has gone live with websites that provide public services and highlight local attractions and events.

The city has overhauled www.navasotatx.gov with a new design that it says improves functionality and allows visitors to more easily navigate and access information on permitting, utility bill pay, meeting agendas and news from the city.

Meanwhile, the new www.visitnavasota.com site is aimed at better promoting tourism in Navasota, focusing on the area’s history and heritage.  The site allows community organizations to submit events and activities for the calendar, as well as photos for potential display and promotion on social media.  Links are also provided for lodging and restaurants in the city.

City of Navasota Marketing and Communications Director Bobbie Lehrmann says it is important to not only make city information available to the public, but make it appealing and relatable.  She says the goal is to create informative and enjoyable content for Navasota residents and better spread the word to tourists about everything the community has to offer.
