BRENHAM POLICE MAKE PAIR OF DRUG ARRESTS
Brenham Police make a pair of drug arrests after traffic stops on Monday.
Sergeant Jonathan Phipps initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West just after 10am.
Phipps conducted a probable cause search where marijuana and a vape pen containing TCH were located.
The driver, 31-year-old Pablo Rodriguez of Houston, was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Harris County for Failure to Appear on a Hit and Run case.
Rodriguez was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance less than one gram, and Possession of Marijuana less than two ounces.
He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then just after 1pm, Officer Ashley Rodriguez initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Kerr Street and Mangrum Street.
Several prescription pills were located inside the vehicle during a search.
The driver, 43-year-old Suzanne Elizabeth Adams of Brenham, was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail for a state jail felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Less Than 28 Grams.
Adams was also discovered to have a warrant out of the City of Brenham for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
