AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT AT TGCA ALL STAR GAMES

The Texas Girls Coaches Association is holding their All Star Week in Arlington.  Last (Tuesday) night, they held the first of two Legacy All Star Volleyball matches at Arlington Martin High School.  The match featured students from Class 1A to Class 4A.  The Red Team featured Sarah Lischka from Bellville and Ally Tribe from Columbus.  The Red Team defeated the Blue Team 3-0.  The Red Team won the first set 25-18, 25-20, and 25-21.  Tonight (Wednesday), they are having a second match, which will feature All-Star teams from 5A-6A schools.

The TGCA also held the first of their Legacy Softball Games last (Tuesday) night.  That game also featured All -Stars from 1A-4A in a Red Team vs. Blue Team game. Among the participants on the Red Team was Kacie Dudensing of Bellville and Alyssa Liccioni of La Grange. The final scored was not reported. The 5A-6A Game is being held tonight (Wednesday) at 7:30pm.

The TGCA All Star Basketball Game was held as well last (Tuesday) night.  Like the other sports, the 1A-4A game was held first and it was Red Team vs. Blue Team. Among those representing the Red Team were Bryanna Stokes of Navasota and Karlee Mathis of Columbus. The final score was not reported. The 5A-6A game is tonight (Wednesday) at 7:30pm.
