NAVASOTA SELECTED TO HOST PRELIMINARY ROUND OF NATIONAL TALENT SHOW ‘THE SOUND’
Navasota is one of four cities across the United States that will host a preliminary competition for a national talent show.
“The Sound”, held by the Inspirational Country Music Association (ICMA), will have a showcase in Navasota on Saturday, October 21st.
Five finalists taken from the Navasota live competition will get to perform on the Grand Ole Opry House Stage in Nashville during the ICMA Awards Show on March 27, 2024. The finalists will also be invited to perform live on stage at the annual Texas Birthday Bash event in Navasota, prior to the Nashville finale.
The winner of the national competition will earn a package that includes a professional songwriting session, the recording of a six-song EP and two radio releases.
