HIGHWAY 105 WIDENING IN NAVASOTA BEGINS AUG. 14
Widening of a stretch of Highway 105 in Navasota will begin in just under two weeks and last for several months.
The City of Navasota says beginning on August 14th, a TxDOT contractor will widen the highway from Fairway Drive to Pecan Lakes Drive. The work will broaden the highway and include a two-way left turn lane.
Work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Construction is anticipated to be complete in approximately six months.
The $2.06 million safety project is contracted to Texas Materials Group. Drivers should obey all traffic control and flaggers in the area.
