BRENHAM CUBETTES WIN TWO AT BATTLE OF THE BRAZOS

The Brenham Cubettes picked up a pair of wins on opening day of the Battle of the Brazos Tournament held yesterday (Thursday) afternoon at George Ranch High School.

In the first match, they beat Kempner 25-12 and 25-8. 

Rylee Sommerlatte, Lainie Bolcerek and Charli Crowson led the team with four kills each.  Crowson also dished out ten assists, while Averi Frazier had eight assists. Sienna Kelm had five aces and ten digs.  Brooklin Frazier added four aces and nine digs.  Kristen Kuehn finished with 11 digs.

The Cubettes would then dominate Alief Taylor 25-7 and 25-8.

Crowson had seven kills and 11 assists. Sommerlatte added six kills.  Kelm finished with five more aces and six digs. Brooklin Frazier had eight digs.

The Cubettes are back in action this morning against Brazoswood at 11am. That match will be played at Richmond Randle High School.
