BURTON ANNOUNCES HOMECOMING WEEK SCHEDULE

  

Burton High School has announced plans for Homecoming Week, which is coming up in October.

Homecoming Week starts on Wednesday, October 18, with the Homecoming Parade through Downtown Burton.

Then, on Friday October 20, the Homecoming Pep Rally is going to be held from 2:40-3:10pm in the Burton High School Gym. 

That will be followed by the Lady Panther Volleyball Team hosting the Somerville Lady Yeguas at 4pm.

The Homecoming Meal follows after the game in the Burton High School Cafeteria.  Tickets are available in the High School office.

The presentation of the Homecoming Court and crowning of the King and Queen will take place at 7pm back in the Gym.

The festivities close out with the Homecoming Dance from 8-10:30pm in the Burton High School Auditorium. Tickets to the dance are also available in the High School office.

The Homecoming Festivities are being held in the Burton High School Gym for the second straight year due to construction on the football stadium not being finished.

The Panther Football Team will be off that week.  They were scheduled to play Runge, but because Runge does not have enough players to field a team, they are forfeiting all their games this season.
