SNOOK ISD INVESTIGATING PHOTO OF OFFENSIVE HOMECOMING SIGN

  

Snook ISD says it is investigating after a photo surfaced on social media involving what it calls “unacceptable” behavior from a possible Snook ISD student.

The photo shows two teenagers, one of them wearing a “Snook football” t-shirt, holding up a handmade homecoming sign displaying a racist statement.  Snook is celebrating homecoming tonight (Friday).

In a statement posted Thursday on the Snook ISD Facebook page, the school district says the incident is being investigated, and once the investigation is completed, any actions or disciplinary measures will be taken as needed.  It says, “Snook ISD has zero tolerance, and will maximize all disciplinary actions available.”
