‘PAINT THE TOWN PINK’ THURSDAY IN WASHINGTON CO.
Washington County residents are invited to wear pink tomorrow (Thursday) for the annual observance of Paint the Town Pink.
This is the 20th anniversary of the event, which takes place every October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and helps to raise funding for breast cancer research.
As part of the observance, a Washington County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Baylor Scott & White – Brenham Clinic’s Hasskarl-Giddings Imaging Center, located at 693 North Market Street.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and guests will be able to see the technology available at the imaging center, which itself is also celebrating its 20th anniversary.
