BENEFIT FOR WASHINGTON CO. EMS PARAMEDIC JOSH GUELKER

  

A fundraiser is being held to support a long-serving first responder in Washington County.

The benefit is for Josh Guelker, who has been a Washington County EMS paramedic for 18 years. Proceeds and donations will go to help Guelker with medical expenses as he continues to recover from an illness.

The benefit includes a meal to be served on Wednesday, November 15th and a prize drawing on Saturday, December 2nd.

Pork steak dinners will be served via drive-thru from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Fireman’s Training Center in Brenham and St. John’s United Church of Christ in Burton.  Meal tickets are $15.

Winners of the prize drawing will be contacted via phone, and prizes can be picked up at St. John’s United Church of Christ or delivered.  Tickets for the drawing are $20.

Tickets can be purchased at K&M Grocery, Tootsie’s Buy & Bye, Robert’s Service Station, Calvary Baptist Church, St. John’s United Church of Christ, White Horse Tavern, Goldberg’s Garage, Burton Short Stop, Round Top Feed, Shelby Store and from Washington County EMS.  They are also available by calling Teresa Gouldson at 979-451-9568.

Monetary donations can be made at Brenham National Bank under the Calvary Baptist Church Account – Josh Guelker and at Citizens State Bank in Burton under St. John’s United Church of Christ – Josh Guelker.
