The #6 Ranked Bellville Brahmas remained unbeaten on the season with a 67-0 victory over the Madisonville Mustangs in the Area Round of the playoffs last (Friday) night.

Bellville outscored Madisonville 23-0 in the first quarter, 14-0 in the second quarter, 23-0 in the third quarter, and 7-0 in the fourth quarter.

D.D. Murray led the Brahmas with 14 carries for 167 yards and five touchdowns.

Sam Hranicky had 15 carries for 103 yards and one touchdowns.

Corrian Hood carried the ball 13 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. Davin Sodolak and Seth Sturm also came off the bench and contributed touchdowns in the game.

Kicker Fernando Grajales was a perfect 9 out of 9 on his extra points.

The Bellville defense also picked up a pair of safeties as well.

Next up, the Brahmas will take on #2 Ranked Silsbee, who defeated Gatesville 35-10, next week in the Region Semifinals.

The game is going to be Friday at 7:30pm at Planet Ford Stadium in Spring.
