LADIES LIONS COLLECT ITEMS FOR SENIORS AND CASA FOR KIDS

  

This Thanksgiving is going to be a little brighter for two local groups.

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club has received donations that will benefit CASA for Kids, and homebound Senior Citizens.

Ladies Lions Club President Linda Kocian state that the hope of club members that they can bring a little extra Thanksgiving to these group.

Bags of food, candy, t-shirts, toys, personal hygiene and  fabric totes were delivered for the Thanksgiving holidays.

Large donations of t-shirts and fabric totes added to the collection with members making donations.

Volunteers from the Washington County Healthy Living Center will make the senior deliveries.

Since 1917, Lions internationally join together in an effort to improve their communities.

One of the pillars of Lions’ service includes Hunger.
