VOLUNTEERS BEING SOUGHT FOR KBTX FOOD FOR FAMILIES FOOD DRIVE
Preparations are underway for the 28th Annual KBTX Food for Families Food Drive.
The Food Drive is being held on Wednesday, December 6, from 6am-7pm. The food drive will be at multiple locations including at the Washington County Expo at 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham.
They are currently looking for volunteers to work the event. Jobs include greeters, unloading vehicles, tracking food donations, sorting food donations, and also providing entertainment.
Organizers do ask that the greeter roles be reserved for local officials.

Last year, the Washington County location for the Food for Families Food Drive collected over 10,261 pounds of food, and had $13,740 in online donations.
