BRENHAM SPECIAL OLYMPICS TEAM WINS MEDALS AT AREA BOWLING TOURNAMENT

The Brenham ISD Special Olympics Team recently took part in the Area Bowling Tournament in Conroe.

Brenham competed at the Middle School, Junior High School, and High School levels where they won three gold medals, five silver medals, and had one fourth place finish plus one seventh place finish.

At the High School level, LeAnna Cook and Riley Janes won Gold Medals. Chris Mansolo, Ava Redman, and Trinity Tarvin won Silver Medals.

Meanwhile, S'Maeya Britton finished in fourth place, and Joe Du'Bowik came in seventh place.

At the Junior High level, Aaliyah Powel won a Silver Medal.

For the Middle School competition, Trenton Lampe won the Silver and Will Larkin won a Gold.

The team was coached by Stacey Johnson and Kevin Moore. Volunteer assistants were Sydney Moore and Aiden Schulz.
