TWO BELLVILLE TEENAGERS ARRESTED IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS

Two Bellville teenagers found themselves behind bars on Thursday after being arrested in separate incidents by the Bellville Police Department.

Police say that 17-year-old O’Marian Freeman was arrested in connection with a series of vehicle thefts that have occurred in and around the Bellville area.

Freeman was charged with a State Jail Felony for Theft of Property Greater Than $2,500, but Less Than $30,000.  

He was booked into the Austin County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Xander Lee Richard, was arrested after Bellville K-9 Officers Freude and Maggie made a traffic stop on him while he was riding a bicycle.

Police say Richard resisted detainment and fought with K-9 Officer Freude.

An investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of multiple drug related items and a handgun.

Richard was booked into the Austin County Jail on charges of Resisting Arrest, Manufacturing and Delivering a Controlled Substance, and Unlawfully Carrying a Firearm.
