TxDOT TO BEGIN CABLE BARRIER PROJECT ON HIGHWAY 21 IN BURLESON CO. MONDAY
A TxDOT contractor will start work Monday on adding a cable barrier along Highway 21 in Burleson County.
The project will take place between County Road 213, near Cooks Point, to the Brazos River.
TxDOT says there will be daily lane closures while the cable barrier is installed.
Drivers are asked to pay attention to traffic control, work zone messaging and workers along the roadway. They should also plan for extra travel time through the area during construction.
The cable barrier project is contracted to Massana Construction, Inc. for $1.08 million. It is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
