RTC GIRLS WIN, BOYS LOSE AGAINST NORTH ZULCH

The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes kept up their winning ways as they defeated North Zulch in a District matchup on Friday night 45-39.

Tess Eilers led the Cubettes with 15 points, while Mallory Krause added 10 points, and Jill Eilers chipped in seven points.

The win improves RT-C to 8-4 overall and 8-1 in district play.

Meanwhile, the Round Top-Carmine Cubs fell to North Zulch 36-14. Tanner Schobel led the Cubs with five points.

The loss drops the Cubs to 2-17 overall and 2-7 in district.

Next up, RTC will host Dime Box on Tuesday night. It will be a doubleheader with the Cubettes playing at 5pm, followed by the Cubs afterwards.
