STATE OF THE COMMUNITY FORUM TO BE HELD MARCH 19

  

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce will soon host several local leaders at a State of the Community Forum.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Washington County Expo, will provide a platform for community members to hear news on projects and the economic landscape driving the Brenham/Washington County region. 

Confirmed speakers for the event include Brenham Mayor Atwood Kenjura, Washington County Judge John Durrenberger, Washington County EMS Director Kevin Deramus, Acting Brenham ISD Superintendent Clay Gillentine and Burton ISD Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy.

Key topics of discussion will cover community updates, employment trends and critical issues that are shaping the area’s trajectory.  Attendees will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the factors driving local growth and development.

Lunch will be provided and catered by Smitty’s Café and Bakery. 

Tickets are $35 for Chamber members, $45 for non-members.  Reserved tables for 10 people are $400.  Tickets must be reserved by Wednesday, March 13th at 5 p.m.
