CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DIVISION INVESTIGATING THEFTS

  

The Brenham Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is investigating two thefts Monday.

They report that Monday morning at 7:35, Officers responded to the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill Street regarding a burglary of a vehicle. Initial investigation revealed that unknown suspects made entry into a vehicle and attempted to steal the vehicle by damaging the steering column and ignition switch.

Then Monday afternoon at 3:25, Officers responded to a business located in the 2500 block of South Day Street in reference to a lapsed theft. Investigation revealed two subjects stole items totaling over $1,100.  Both cases are currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
